Syntax and Code Errors when Updated to New Version


Issue Description


When a user is updating to new version of AutomationDock and subsequently runs already created processes minor syntax and code errors might occur. This is due to changes which have been made during AutomationDock version update. AutomationDock offers a functionality to identify major changes in syntax and validate steps compatibility.


Issue Solution


To validate step compatibily after you have updated AutomationDock to a new vension, please follow the steps below:


  1. In Excel click on AutomationDock tab


  2. Click on Settings & Options (the down arrow)


  3. Click on Validate step compatibility


  4. AutomationDock will let you know whether all steps are valid or not. Click OK.
